Additional Comments:
The darling weanling filly on the picture is this colt's daughter out of a 7/8th TB mare, granddaughter of Secretariat. "Hans" is a rather unusual young horse and thus special. He was the result of a repeat breeding, because I liked his older brother, a very promising dressage prospect. These two colts are near carbon copies, with the exception that "Hans" has more flat, hunter type movements. They are out of my classic, 16.2 hand grey Anglo-Trakehner mare and by my 14 hand Welsh/Belgian [reg. AWB] stallion, a very prepotent, guy who passed on his lovely features and outstanding character. Both are a happy mix between the two different breeds This colt is a reddish/grey roan, and he will NOT turn grey with 3 stockings, a good size blaze and a big white spot over his hip. Hans is of stout built , yet VERY athletic and appealing. There are several well known jumping and dressage lines on his dam's side. "Hans" is good natured and has no bad habits, even as a stud colt. HIs test babies are absolutely outstanding, proving that he passes on some of his pristine bloodlines and he is well worth being a producer of small sportshorses. Or-- gelded, he will make a super all arounder with emphasis jumping. Check out his 2 babies from last year which are now exquisit yearlings and one of his baies from this year. He sired 3 other weanlings here of which I haven't taken any pictures yet. One will be huge as in 16.3 like his Mom.
