Dressage/Hunter/Jumper Thoroughbred Mare for Sale

Hart (Hart's Prospector) is a 1991 15.3hh bay Thoroughbred mare. Don't let her age fool you! She was bred in California and her pedigree can be viewed at http://www.pedigreequery.com/harts+prospector.

Hart has been through pony club and has tested 'C' Level (Canadian Pony Club) in the fall of 2009. She has been through a few trails and can be rode on the road and has achieved level one Parelli with an eleven year old handler. In her younger days she was a race horse, then moved on to a polo pony. Since Hart has been 15 she has been doing a lot of Dressage, Hunters/Jumpers and Eventing. In 2008 at the Manitoba Pony Club Benefit Show and Regional Finals Hart was Junior 13 and Under Reserve Champion and at the 2009 Manitoba Pony Club Benefit Show and Regional Finals Hart was Junior 13 and Under Champion. She has shown 2'6" in both Hunters and Jumpers and has done Training Level Dressage. She loves the Cross-Country course and has jumped approx. 2'9" on there (been through the water, bank, and sunken road). Hart has schooled 3'3" and has schooled 2'9" courses. I have free jumped her 3'6".

She has been rode by a 13 yo girl who had never rode a horse before. Hart can go western as well!

Loads, clips, ties, baths, and loves to be groomed. Hart has amazing feet and goes barefoot (been barefoot this year and goes without shoes in the winter) or with shoes. And she has never been unsound in the past three and a half years that we have owned her. She has been lunged many times before.
