Azzie is a registered 2005 Trakehner gelding who is a quiet, gentle horse who wants to please. He is jumping 2 1/2 foot courses including spreads 2 1/2 feet high and across. He is a natural, talented and willing jumper. Azzie has great form and tucks his feet neatly. He knows the basics under saddle and is learning to give to pressure. Even when he isn't ridden frequently he remains calm and is easy to ride. Azzie has excellent ground manners and tries hard to please his handlers and riders. Azzie's maternal grandmother is by the famous Olympic medal winning show jumper Abdullah. Azzie's mother was a champion dressage horse herself and was very hard to beat. Azzie is by the Trakehner stallion Khalif who earned a performance bronze through the American Trakehner Association for his show results. Azzie moves very freely through his shoulder and has the movement and reach for dressage or hunters. He has wonderful gaits and should be good for any discipline! He is a very friendly and curious horse.
