Buddy is a 12 year old paint gelding who came in for rehab due to founder caused by being overweight & overgrazing. Buddy's rehabilitation involved a strict diet and exercise program, weight and insulin supplements, occasional pain medication, x-rays and proper care of his feet. He is an extremely sweet guy and is now fully rehabilitated, though requires close attention to his diet to prevent a relapse in his condition. he is broke to ride and does well in both the ring & on trails. Gets along well with other horses, but could be kept alone as well. He is off all meds and is doing well on just diet management for the last year. He is being ridden, and will require an intermediate rider. To approved homes only.
