Additional Comments:
20 year old registered APHA gelding "Seahawk". He is dead broke and gentle! He was a rescue that we got. I have before, during and after pictures of him. He really likes to be ridden and especially little kids. He is super easy to load in any type of trailer, from narrow to a big stock. He clips, even his ears with no trouble. He’s easy to worm, not goofy about his face. He does sunburn, so he is used to having sun block on his face. “Hawk†was a stallion until several months ago. He is not stupid or aggressive. Gets along well with mares and geldings and is currently pastured with 2 geldings that were gelded later in life and 3 mares. He has been trailered with both mares and geldings and does just fine. He was big and buff before castration. He doesn’t have all the testosterone that he used to, so looks out of shape. He does trails, drill, gaming, arena work and parades. He is not afraid of carts. We drive our draft X mare on the road and he walks right beside the carriage with not a care in the world. He can be rode by the smallest kids, will walk, trot and canter, stops with just a little pressure. He knows how to side pass, will lower his head for his nightie nightie blanket. “Hawk†is easy to catch, likes to be in the barn in the nasty weather. He has new front shoes on and is ready to go. He is vaccinated and was just wormed. He will be participating in high school equestrian events (drill, sorting, and gaming) until sold. He will be going to Hope from horses, working with handicap kids. He is not a hot horse, is more on the lazy side. If you want a good gentle horse for your entire family, here he is. He is about 15HH. He got into some dusty hay, so he is on tri-hist am and pm feeding. We also wet his hay and his grain too, plus he is out on pasture.
