Starbuck is a gorgeous bay mare. We have her mother and brother at our rescue as they were rescue's from an RCMP seizure in 2006. She was adopted out to a very nice family as a companion for their older gelding but sadly he passed away fall '08 and thus she has returned. She is halter broke, good with her feet and loves to be brushed. She was a little spoiled in her last home and so needs to be reminded of her manners.She's looking for a wonderful family who would love a companion horse for their horse! She is not broke and may never be able to be broke as she was underweight when she was seized and was not fed properly so when we got her she had calcium deposits on her front pasturns which don't allow weight or riding. She may improve with time she may not. At this time she needs nothing for them.She will be going on a free companion lease to an approved home.
