Headlong is by Dig Zig, a multiple allowance winning son of Belmont Stakes winner Danzig Connection. Her dam Head On (Naskra x Broadside by Stage Door Johnny) was a multiple winner herself, and produced 2 stakes horses including G3SW World Class Splash - there are many black-type horses under her first 3 dams, incl. $half million winner Bursting Forth, River Estate, etc. Headlong was in training as a 3yo but we ran out of money so she never made it to a race. Although she hasn't been ridden in a couple of years, she was always good under saddle. Easy to work with, no vices.
