"Bridget" is a 3 year old RPSI registered mare with a fantastic mind. She is out of the Hanoverian stallion "Traumhaft" by Nana's Bloom, a TB mare with wonderful breeding. Traumhaft is know for passing on his quiet temperament and excellent trainability to his offspring. Bridget was inspected and branded with RPSI at only 3 weeks old with a silver premium awarded. Bridget came to me at 3 months old with her dam, (weaned at 6 months) and she has been with me since, handled daily. No major illnesses, injuries, or unsoundness. She was shown as a yearling at Deep Run AA and a 2 year old at Deep Run and at Warrenton, with placing at each. More than one vet has remarked to me how quiet she was/is for her age, and how nicely she is put together. Very solid but with feminine features. She should mature to 16.1-16.2 hands (sire 17.1, dam 16.2). Bridget was first backed this September and was lightly long-lined before hand. She was a very quick study! Lightly ridden only a few times that month, with more solid work started in early October. She is currently W/T/C and has been hacked through fields, and is a very quiet and smooth ride. She has also been ridden by a 12 year old junior rider, and couldn't have been better. She will definitely be a great child's/junior's mount! Has the ability and the mind to excel in any discipline. Bridget has free jumped once, and showed great form and even knees. Bridget is currently outside 24/7 (always the first to greet you), gets along well with other horses, and is barefoot (excellent feet). Great for farrier and vet. UTD on everything. No vices.
