Additional Comments:
This is one fantastic young man. He is GREAT with kids and likes to work with relatively inexperienced riders. He is patient and gentle with an unsure rider.
DON'T MISS THE VIDEO ON HIS WEB PAGE OF HIS 3RD DAY RIDING -- INCLUDING BAREBACK THEN BAREBACK AND BRIDLELESS!!!
Pepper loves to trail ride and also works well indoors and out in arenas. His first ride in a state park he lead 90% of the ride - including into and out of rivers, up steep muddy trails. This is one GREAT young man.
While he is a 2 temperament, he isn't a "boring slug". He is bright eyed and VERY playful, and loves people, other horses, dogs, just about everything. You have to meet Pepper to really appreciate his striking color and his even more striking personality.
His momma is VERY broad chested and broad barrelled and we expect pepper to widen as well. She, too, is better with timid riders and particularly children than she is with more confident riders. Both of them will take care of a nervous rider, including on the trails.
He self loads onto the trailer, and is typically handled around home with no halter - at most, a baling string around his neck, but often handled as shown in the photo - with no "restraint" whatsoever. He has not been trained to neck rein, but has ridden extensively in English, western and Tucker Plantation tack.
