Misty is a nice pinto mare that is around 17 years old aging by her teeth. I don't know a lot about her background except that she has been moved around a lot. She takes most things with stride. She is top mare in the pasture and is an easy keeper. The reason she is for sale and a low price is that the beginning of the summer she injured her rear fetlock joint. I didn't realize how injured it was until it was too late to do much about it. It doesn't seem to bother her much, in fact I see her run, buck, trot, etc... in the pasture with the other horses. She is fine for back yard riding at a walk and a little trotting, but probably not for a long amount of time. My kids rode her in just a halter and lead rope and bareback most of the time. Other than this issue she is a healthy horse and was a good mom. She had a 2 yr old with her when we bought her. Her biggest problem is she can be pushy when not handled often. She needs to be reminded of her manners.
