Annie Oakley is SWEET, SWEET, SWEET, and more importantly SAFE! This mare will try absolutely anything you ask of her and keep the same even keeled temperament. Loves to be doted on and please you. Uncomplicated to ride and never spooky. Shown this past summer hunter/jumper in the Children's Ponies Division (2'6), is now trying her hand at eventing. Currently schooling first level dressage. WON her first ever combined event this fall with an amazing 33 penantly points (all from dressage, but 67% is not a bad score for your first dressage test either!). Next closest competitor was 11 points behind her! As for the jumping, Annie loves it and is "point and shoot." She'll jump anything and height does not intimidate her! She's bold to the fences, but very obedient. Happy to trot or do a slow canter around a course. Work her all winter and do beginner novice/novice next year. Perfect for Pony Club, someone to move up the levels with, or just to rebuild confidence with! At the shows, she has the same calm temperament as at home from the minute she comes off the trailer. Annie will take care of you. Has also been a lesson pony in the past and is very forgiving. Owner is simply downsizing or else she wouldn't be for sale! Annie also has great ground manners, easy to have in the barn, easy keeper, great feet (currently barefoot!), trailers, bathes, clips, etc. Also loves to trail ride alone or with others, is traffic/tractor/atv/dog safe, may make a great fox hunting horse as well!
