Additional Comments:
This mare is currently being ridden in drill by my teenage daughter, and has been trained/shown in western/pleasure and halter, has worked cows, and been on trails. She has a gentle, smooth trot and canter and is excellent for those who need a horse that doesn't hurt their backs to ride. She moves easily with leg pressure and has a soft mouth. She is easy to load, stands quietly for farrier and is current on her shots/coggins. The picture on this site was taken about two weeks after we weaned a foal from her (July 09) and she went to work as if she had been riding all year. She has shown in halter and took 1st place in the OkFQHR for mares over age 10. Her filly won the OkFQHR weanling fillies Stakes class Oct. 09. She has beautiful foals and is a great riding mare. Make a great youth or 4H all around mare. Out of Bar Dell Peppy, Doc Woods, Spook's Sugar, Poco Dell, Miss Sunday Gal, Due Note, Oklahoma Spook. On her dam side: Budhas Barbie, Poco Doc Bright, Docs Budha, Leigh Bright, Boston Barbi, Boston Mac, Money Bar LadyI can't say enough about her and my daughter loves riding her and doesn't want me to sell her. However, we are getting our place ready to sell and I can't afford to board more than 2 horses.
