Rare: Registered Newfoundland Pony Gelding - a Real ham

Has been out with our stallion in the past, mares and geldings and gets along with them all. Currently is babysitting our weanling. Happy to live out or come in at night. Keeps the cleanest stall.

Has been shown on the line/in-hand, showmanship, wt classes and over poles and wee tiny Xs and was shown dressage with scores in the 60s. Due to his age and the fact he has had a few growth spurts of late he has not been jumped over anything bigger than a small X and just recently started a bit of canter work.

Used for WT lessons with a petite jr.. Tends to be pokey. Hacks out quietly alone or with company on the property. Canter transitions coming. Will be a fantastic family pony. Can carry adults as well as children. See our website for more pics.

The type you can leave for a month and just get on and go. I broke my wrist slipping on the ice this spring and rode this fellow in a cast one handed - he's that trustworthy. Would be suitable for a jr. or a petite adult looking for a "push" type of ride. This guy is very ho-hum. Farrier, vet (incl. shots and dentistry), etc. UTD. Strong feet never worn shoes. Located at Forest Lane Horse Farm. Other ponies also avail. Reason for sale is that we are breeders and can't keep them all. Would consider on-farm lease to rider interested in showing.
