Marshal is a beautiful dark buckskin gelding. Marshal is a confidence booster extrordinaire. He is calm, confident, easy to ride and has a wonderfully smooth saddle gait. Marshal is the type of horse that make you feel safe from the minute you sit in the saddle. He has a calm and soothing way about him. Marshal is a gentle horse that is very well trained and listens to his rider. He stands perfectly still to mount whether you are in an arena, out in the woods or up in the mountains. He will stand and wait while you get situated and then move out when you ask him. Marshal is content to walk along on the trail if you ask him he will get into his smooth saddle gait for you too. Marshall has a super canter that is like riding a cloud. He floats and covers ground in an effortless way that is most comfortable to ride. Marshal goes out alone without looking back and does not seem to be bothered by anything on the trail. We have taken him to Mt. Charleston on challenging rides, down city streets and through the deserts and local parks. Marshal has been an angel on every ride I have ever taken him on. One thing I like allot about him as that he is EXTREMELY sure footed. This boy doesn't miss a step. No matter what the terrain he is competent and careful in the way he places his feet and handles his rider. Marshal has a great mind, gentle disposition and a nice smooth steady gait. No matter where we have taken him he is always a consistent performer and a great trail companion. Marshal has great ground manners and is patient to halter, lead, groom, bathe, shoe, load/unload, clip... He stands to mount/dismount, gaits on a loose rein, canters like a dream, is great to ride bareback and is just an all around great horse. Marshal has a thick, muscular body that is capable of carrying larger riders too.
