Lucy is a 3 year old dark grey Shetland Pony who is absolutely perfect for anyone searching for a LEAD LINE PONY for the 2010 Show Season!!! She is extremely gentle and is handled daily. She has been ridden bareback with a halter and lead rope for the past year and we recently introduced her to a "saddle" and a bridle which included an O-Ring Snaffle bit. I do not want to advertise this little Mare as broke to ride due to the fact that even though she has exstensive riding bareback; she has only been saddled two times! She handles fine when ridden with only a halter and lead rope (will plow rein fine and neck reins a little bit, also has a great stop) but will most likely require some time to get used to a bit. She is easy to catch, stands tied, stands to be saddled, loves to be groomed and pampered, easy to load/haul, bathes, clips (with SCISSORS, not sure about clippers), very laid back and easy going, and is 100% sound with no past or present health or soundness issues. Sells with current coggins papers and is up to date on all wormings! We will also provide Health Papers for out of state buyers at no additional charge!
