Elligable to compete in the APHA Gelding Plus Program. EXTREMELY CUTE FANCY LOOKING GELDING, REAL NICE BODIED, LOTS OF EYE APPEAL, NICE MOVER, DRIVES SINGLE, JOGGING, LOPING, SOFT IN HIS FACE, KNOWS HIS LEADS, DOING EXTREMELY WELL WITH WORKING ON PATTERNS AND TRAIL ... PUT HIM IN THE RIBBONS IN COLOR AND HALTER RIGHT AWAY. HE PIVOTS ON THE FRONT AND HIND, STARTING TO DO REINING SPINS, AND I HAVE STARTED WORKING ON SHOWMANSHIP WITH HIM WHEN I HAVE TIME. HE HAD 30 DAYS PUT ON HIM WHEN HE WAS STARTED UNDER SADDLE JUST BEFORE HE TURNED 3. THIS PAST SUMMER HE HAD ANOTHER 30 DAYS ON HIM TO BE CONSISTENT WITH SLOWING DOWN THE JOG AND LOPE FOR WESTERN PLEASURE. HE IS COMING ALONG. GOING GREAT IN ENGLISH RIGHT NOW. HE ALSO SHOWS A LOT OF DRESSAGE AND REINING POTENTIAL BECAUSE HE LOVES PATTERN WORK. My 13 year old daughter rides him too.VINNIE IS BY EXCLUSIVELY BY FAR, A HORSE WITH HI ROM AND SUPERIOR, 60 HALTER POINTS, 10 GRAND CHAMPIONS, 10 RESERVE GRAND CHAMPIONS. HIS OTHER ANCESTORS HAVE LOTS AND LOTS OF ROMS, SUPERIORS, GRAND CHAMPIONS, WORLD CHAMPIONS, IN HALTER AND PERFORMANCE ALIKE VINNIE IS QUIET, SOFT, SUPPLE, LOVABLE AND VERY WILLING TO PLEASE. HE IS A GREAT HORSE. He's doing FABULOUS out trail riding - not a spook in him. Used to dogs, camp fires, deer, turkeys, etc. I AM TOO BUSY BEING A SHOW MOM SO I NEVER GET TO SHOW : ) He is worth FAR MORE than his price. Clips, bathes, loads, cross ties, excellent for vet and farrier. There are so many horses out there for sale right now with health and soundness issues, and this gelding is sound and healthy. He is worth every penny.
