Buckshots Lil Dancer, or Deputy, is an 8yr old, 15hh, registered app gelding. He has spent the past summer as a lesson and camp horse for the YMCA Camp Piomingo. Deputy is extremely sweet and easy to get along with. He is currently turned out with mares and geldings, is easily caught, and stands quiet while tied. He is UTD with all farrier and vet work and does not require shoes. He has not been lame or sick and has no vices. I have never seen him buck, rear, bite, or spook. He has lots of trail experience and has been picketed overnight on trail rides. He loads and bathes easily but we do not clip our horses so I am not sure how he does with that.
Deputy has been the first mount for many Girl Scouts and taught beginners the very basics of riding. He spent this summer with more advanced riders over fences. He is currently riding 2-2'3" fences but can jump higher with a more experienced rider. Deputy is not for beginner jumpers. Deputy is the most knowledgable/trained of all our camp horses and knows how to go round, carry himself, flex and bend. He would do really well in the dressage ring and I think would enjoy eventing.
