9 yr. Old, Mare, Gaited, may Trade

I rescued this mare approx 9 months back & she has come back really nice. I pony her when I go for trail rides, I took her with me when I went to trail ride in the Catalina State Park & took her on the rock & boulder trails & she did GREAT ! she was sure footed & navigated the trail steps like they weren't even there She stands approx 14.3 hds, has had 1 foal that I know of, wears size 0 shoe or boot, has nice hard feet. She is broke to ride , She was here approx. 4 months before I saddled & mounted her & she just stood there for mounting & didn't move until I told her to. So She's one of those well sought after horses that can stand for months brought out saddled up & rode off. I didn't want to ride her a lot as I am too big/heavy for her slender build. she direct or plow reins not neck rein. She is a lil bit cinchie & I'm working with her on that & with time & patience she is coming out of that. She's a lil buddy sour & again with a lil time & patience she could come out of that.

I believe that she would make a nice English style horse as she has a beautiful floaty trot. She probably would need english training. She was a trail horse before I got her, So if your a slender person & only want to trail ride she'd be very good at that. I originally went ahead & got her with the plans to make her my back up trail horse , but that's not going to work I'm too heavy for her slender build. she will hop into a OPEN stock trailer & she would probably be OK getting into a CLOSED stock trailer, I have had her in my 2 horse straight load.
