Very Sweet Horse

I bought Dan (Sunrise Dan) for my husband about 6 months ago. He is 14 years old, his birthday is April 22. 1995. I'm not sure how tall he is but it is well over 15 hands. His sire is Impulsive Cowboy and his dam is Docs Happy Hoofer. His pedegree goes back to Impressive. He is a wonderful horse for my husband, but he lost interest. He isn't a horse lover like I am. I have 2 other horses that I have to split my attention for. My husband rode him in a playday and Dan knows the barrel and pole patterns. I don't feel comfortable saying that he is a beginners horse because he likes to go and when he does he is fast. I have also ridden him in parades. He doesn't spook, he is very trusting and will do whatever you ask of him. He is current on all his shots and has a neg coggins. He was used as a rope horse before we got him, we use him just for pleasure riding. We have taken him to Palo Duro Canyon a few times and he did great. He has never offered to buck, rear, bite or kick. He is an in your poket kind of horse. All he wants to do is please. He loads great, stands for the farrier like a pro, and will stand tied all day if you want him to. He doesn't mind bathing either. He does have a swollen thiroid that the vet said there was nothing we could do about. It doesn't bother him. It hasn't gotten any bigger or smaller. Also, if you ride him too hard he will limp on his left shoulder. He wouldn't limp for the vet so they couldn't tell us what was wrong. I've noticed that if I keep his hooves trimed every 4-5 weeks it's not as bad. Come try him out. Price is FIRM. Thanks for looking.
