"Crow" is a big, flashy, chestnut mare. She has 4 high, white stockings and a blaze. She is a true 16 hands, and has a wonderful sloping shoulder and a powerful rear end with strong loin. She is roughly 60% Thoroughbred if you go back several generations. She is by Deregulate, who is by the famous Dash For Cash, and out of a Go Man Go mare. Crow's dam is by Indian Instinct (a Top Moon son), and out of a mare by Diamond 2 Bar, a direct Three Bars son!! So she is bred for speed! She raced, and had a 81 speed index and was track rated AA. Also has her ROM. After she was unfortunately injured, she became a broodmare and is only sound for light riding. She had 2 colts so far who raced, one is ADH Speck Of Fame, who stands at stud in Idaho. Another colt was bred for barrel racing and is in California.Crow has the type of build that would cross wonderfully with Thoroughbreds to produce hunters. She also has the fantastic disposition that you want in a broodmare. She can literally be handled by a child.
