Docs Diamond Duro, or Duro as I call him is a 2 and a half year old registered quarter horse gelding. I bought him in June 2009, from his breeders with hopes of him becoming my next barrel racing horse, he hadnt been messed with much in about a year and was highstrung. Since then I have put quite a few hours into roundpen work with him and I have rode him 12-15 times, and once with my older gelding, he neck reins fairly easy already. He leads, ties, bathes,does fine with the fly spray, and will pick up his feet. We have had him in a trailer three times, the first time was a mess but the last two he did great. He has not had shoes on him. Duro can have a bit of an attitude at times and needs an expeirenced rider like any young horse. Im selling him because I dont have the time to mess with him anymore, I have a job and Im a full time college student. With the right person and more hours I believe he will make an awesome barrel racing horse, he is athletic and spirited.
