Additional Comments:
"Fireman" is a SUPER nice colt! He's built amazing! He's balanced, big boned, deep hipped, deep cinched, and flows. Beautiful mover! He's got a long graceful stride and knows how to boogie on all 4 feet! GREAT mind, loves to please, wants to work, etc. There are seriously not enough good words to describe this colt! Everytime I step out the back door, I like him more! He's going to be tall and already stands 14.2 hands (but has the bone to hold him up). Sire is 16.0 hands, dam is 15.2. His sire, Zanton Firewater was a futurity barrel horse in Arkansas and a money earner with limited showing. He's a big powerful animal! Fireman's dam, Streakin Suzy was a mare that I high school rodeoed on, jack-potted on, and also ran in D&G, NBHA, ABRA, Central 4D & BBR sanctioned races. She was a solid 2D/3D mare with more heart & guts than you could shake a stick at. Saddle winner, buckle winner, money earner! She was tough and would hold up in any kind of ground. Awesome, awesome mare! She was also used as a heading horse (very cowy!) and was ran on the track. This colt has her same mindset! He WILL be a force to be reckoned with. Now, everybody's question. . ."If he's so nice, why are you selling him?" To be honest, I DON"T want to sell him. I hardly ever get excited about a young barrel prospect, but I AM ecstatic about this one! The ONLY, and I mean ONLY two reasons he is for sale are 1. I have a 1 year old daughter and don't have the time to spend with Fireman that he needs. 2. I could use the extra cash. My loss could be your gain. BUT, come warmer weather, if he isn't sold. . .I'm starting him under saddle and pulling him off the market. So if you think you like him, think fast and come see him in person before I come to my senses. (I can show you his momma too). You won't be disapointed! He's a nice colt, and I'm not going to give him away!
