"Buddy" is an extremely well-broke 14 yr old quarter horse gelding with excellent conformation, tons of chrome (2 white socks on front and 2 high stockings on rear and a HUGE blaze and flaxen mane and tail). He does NOT have papers, but his owner (one of my best friends) was told he is out of registered horses and goes back to Doc Bar, Leo, and Two Eyed Jack. He has been ridden in parades by a 9 yr old girl, is excellent on trails, and is not spooky in the least. He is very soft-mouthed--rides best in a very light bit (snaffle, jr cow horse) and easy to handle. He is easy to catch, shoe, load and anything else you ask him to do. He is a perfect gentleman. He has not been ridden in a few months due to the owner's workload and lack of time, and this is part of the reason she is selling him besides the fact that she cannot afford to feed more than one horse for the winter and has an older mare that she just cant bear to part with and that has an old injury. So the gelding must go! I am listing this gelding for my best friend in order to help her find him the best home possible. Price may be slightly negotiable to the right home. He is well worth the money asked of him though--perfect for a begginer rider with just a little tuning up, the perfect husband's horse, or a great lady's trail horse--would also probably make a nice lesson horse or a good 4-H starter horse with a little show training--potential to be very athletic.
