SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY PLEASE

The mare is 16+ HH and the stallion is a little shorter. They are wonderful horses. I would like them to go together for many reasons. They have been together forever, and it is going to be very difficult for me to have them go. When they go together I can at least know they are together- and maybe find some peace in that. I feel awful selling them- I love them. I raised them.

My mom is in Montana and has end stage cancer. I need to go be with her, and already have tons of things I will need people to take care of for me, 2 small children at home being a biggie, and still have to find a way to take care of my bills and things here while I am away...so I need the money as well.

You won't find a calmer stallion and he has such a wonderful personality! I even wish I could find a buyer that would sell them back to me when I can get back on my feet after this. But that is asking the impossible. These are my babies, and I would not sell them if I were not in the predicament I am in now. They are well worth every dime and I know who ever gets them will see that right away.

They would need to get updated on shots, have been wormed but will be due for another worming soon. I have the wormer and will get it done this month. Have never tested them for coggins as they have not been in a show or boarded anywhere.

It is a decent size 2 horse trailer- all lights work and it is a 2" ball hitch. The center divider has recently been re-welded onto it as I used the trailer to haul pigs to the fair in the past.

I bought it about 4 years ago from someone in Lower Michigan and paid 1500.00 for it. It does have some rust and is in need of paint. The floor is all new hard wood and it is sturdy. The tires are in fair to good condition. It has a storrage compartment in the front- I beleive there is a spare tire in there. There is a saddle rack and room for some tack or maybe a bale of hay.

Unfortunately, when I went out the other day (10-20-09)to see the horses, they were full of burs. I do not know that I will get a chance to remove them before I leave, and with the field they are in having burs in it, I do not know if removing them before they go will do any good.

They have been ridden, but need work. Ground manners are good with both, she lunges and he will, but is not as good with it. He loads into a trailer like hes really going someplace- she had a fright once when I loaded her and is a little more hesitant to load. They are micro chipped. They are registered. They have been blood typed.

I worked a lot with them last year (2008)and got them standing good, so it would not take much to get them used to that again. They are gaited, and while ridding will need some correcting, but that too should fall into place with some consistency. They have had no professional training- just me, and I am far from a professional horse person.

Her name is Gem and his is Print'ce. Her foal should throw his spots.

My mare's registration number is 20411617 and her name is Shade's Golden Gem...or Gem for short. her dob is 4-4-2004. She is palomino with dappling. She has a blonde maine and tail that is beautiful(when brushed out).

My stallion is 20411618 and his name is Glory's Key Print'ce...or Print'ce for short. His dob is 8-8-04. He is black and white spotted. He has a main and tail that are black and white, and it too is beautiful and very long- when brushed out. I kept him as a stallion as I planned on using him as a stud and charging stud fee, as he has been blood typed and should throw his spots. He is the gentlest stallion you will ever see.

They are very healthy horses. Their hooves do need trimming. My farrier moved away and I have not found a good one since. They did used to stand pretty good for the farrier, and I used to always have them give me their feet- but like I said, I have not been able to work with them at all this past summer(2009), and spent little time with them since February (2009) when I injured my ankle. I have had no trouble with colic, foundering, coughing or any other ailment with either horse. They are easy keepers in the winter. I used big round bales and kept them with hay to graze on and gave grain in the winter- throwing in a little alfalfa and treats every so often.

They are both very people orientated and come to the fence when they see me. When I had them at home here they followed me around while I worked in the yard- usually Print'ce would nudge me if I did not scratch his head often enough. He was 3 months old and she was 7 months old when I got them. I spent every spare moment with them, sometimes outside until 2am grooming and playing with them.

Let me know if you are interested in seeing them or anything. Thank you.

Sandi
