Additional Comments:
Jonna was the 2002 Kansas ABRA Open Reserve High Point Weanling Mare. She is a zebra dun with fantastic factoring. Her sire was Eli's Harvest Moon (ABRA buckskin), and her dam is MoArk's Dream Girl (ABRA and AMBA grulla).Breeding Stock - Extraordinaire !!!!!!!!! Passes size and temperament and conformation. Completely normal, friendly, gentle during and after foaling. Pushes baby toward human. Didn't say she was dumb. She knows how to get free babysitting.Trail - solid, strong and sturdy (easily carries 300lbs saddle & rider), go forward, comfortable.Endurance - Finish and place quality.Cattle - Loves it!!!! She's just played around without formal training. Can get the job done with a smile on the rider's face. Great cow sense comes from her sire, dam and grand-dam. Her size comes from her grand-dam. It sort of intimidates other critters. Especially when that big head comes at them asking "You want to Play?" Loves penning and sorting - really sticks to the cow or horse for that matter.Dressage - prospect. Supreme movement but she's still a little heavy in the front , stiff in the bend, and not quite found her carriage. Hunt Seat - actually a decent jumper to go along with supreme movement. Just beginning her introduction to hunter.Jumper - NOT. She'd look like a freight train if going for speed rather than grace.Eventing - good prospect. Exposed to elements of eventing with good results.Western Pleasure - could place on local level but she's not had enough training to go higher.UTD on Coggins, shots, worming, and farrier. $7500 firm.
