I've received numerous calls since the first of the year from people searching for that perfect GOAT TYING horse so when I came across this Gelding I had to have him!!! Standing only 13 hands tall (just step off him when you get there!), built like an Appendix bred Quarter Horse (nice head, chest & rear end with a super long stride/short back and long legs), and outstanding sliding stop (really uses his rear end when he puts on the brakes!) this horse is perfect for goat tying!!! He's built just right for Pole Bending too! Good ALL-AROUND or back-up Prospect! If you have a kid who wants to compete at Playdays or even bigger events you should come give Psych'd a try! The only riding requirement is the ability to sit a horse good...if you or the person you are looking for a horse for does not sit a horse good or if you are looking for a kids first horse, this is not the one you want. The reason I say this is when you ask him to turn, he does, and he does it quickly! If you are not paying attention and sitting in the middle of him, he would turn right out from under you! Psych'd is easy to catch, load, haul, stands tied, clips, bathes, stands for farrier, up to date on worming/vaccinations, current coggins papers, healthy and sound. He is a little hi strung when it comes to ground manners (always has to look at everything even if it means turning around and constantly moving!) but he is better when you get on him. You can ride him with a loose rein and he will stand calmly. Does not spook and with the exception of poor ground manners, he has no bad habits. We have not swung a rope off him yet but we have backed him in a box and he does it with no problem...if he's never been in a box before, you would never know it!!! He is eligiable for registration with the American Quarter Pony Association, I will provide buyer with all neccessary forms/information at time of purchase. This is a really nice gelding!
