Remus APW - 2009 Dark Bay colt by Hunter stallion Ruckus Time. Remus is a fancy colt with great conformation, elegant build, good topline, neck and refined head. His markings are unique, he has white on all four legs but most are partial socks with just splashes of colour on the pastern and a large blaze. He should mature to 16.0hh minimum, but is a tall foal for his age now.
His sire Ruckus Time, is a proven hunter and jumper producer with offspring competing in both the USA and Canada. The owners of Ruckus Time have made it onto the USEF hunter list (#12), as Canadian Breeders, and he is an active part of their program. Ruckus Time offspring are good movers, with solid conformation and ample jumping ability.
His dam, Ribbon, is by Grand Prix Jump stallion Radjah Z. Radjah competing in Germany for most of his life until being purchased by the Flyinge State Stud for breed refinement. He was an excellent competitor and he is a proven producer of quality horses. He has several approved sons (one who won his stallion test), an olympic finalist, in addition to offspring competing in Europe, Canada and the USA. Radjah Z is well known for passing along his jumping talent. His sire, Ramiro Z is legendary and is argued as one of the best show jumping producers of all time. Radjah's dam is by Alme Z, another one of show jumping finest.
With the combination of bloodlines, Remus is sure to be no slouch in the jump department. He will be a stand out in the hunter ring, with the prospective ability to enter the jumper ring as well.
