She is naturally very strong. Worming and farrier all up to date. Lockette is very comfortable with living outside most of the time. She has a wonderful walk, smooth trot, and a very nice smooth canter. This mare loves to be loved, whether it's getting brushed or just a pat she will quite often fall asleep while you groom her. She stands tied, cross-ties nicely, gives all four hooves, likes a bath and travels well in trailer. All her vaccines also up to date. Trained to saddle (English and Western) and has started driving training. She has a very nice conformation and a strong constitution. In our herd of three she is the boss and we have had her in herds of up to 12 and she does well in large herds also. She is loyal and bonds well with her rider.

Easy keeper, we feed her only grass hay and she does very well, no need for extra grain or supplements. Would suit an intermediate level rider. Lockette thrives when people are confident, slow and methodical with her. She will work hard for you all day. She does not respond well to someone with a heavy hand, you cant 'bully' this mare so to speak. She is level-headed and I have never seen her spook.

Health and finances force us to sell this mare. We love her and are hoping to find an owner who will love her too. We are located north of London, Ontario. We are asking $4000 CDN or best offer.
