Sired by CLOE VAL DU SAIR and out of Miramar Crepes Suzette, Rosie is a classy, very correct and beautiful 4-year-old Welsh pony mare who shows quite a bit of maturity for her young age. She has received lots of handling since birth, and was started by a professional trainer using Parelli Natural Horsemanship methods as a long 2-year-old. She was ponied many times throughout the desert by different horses, and has even been led for miles down the side of the road by a child on a bicycle. She is kind, sweet, friendly and can be ridden bareback or under saddle by a confident child or petite lady. Rosie LOVES to jump - she free-jumps just for the fun of it, and her full brother is a valuable hunter/jumper show pony on the east coast. Rosie rides bravely through creeks and over bridges, through downfall or rocks, and has been in the front, middle and tail-end of groups, as well as out on the trails by herself. Since Rosie is just a 4-year-old, she needs a confident and fairly knowledgeable little rider to make sure that she continues to progress as a wonderful, solid and sensible riding pony. She has not yet been worked with collection since she is so young, but with a bit more training she could go into shows in the near future. Rosie stands to be clipped without being tied (but of course, she DOES tie), bathes, trailers, is good to trim and loves people - especially children.
