This is a wonderful 13yr. old mare. She has no bad habits (no biting, kicking, cribbing etc), stands for farrier, and baths, is easy to worm and is a joy to ride. We have used her on overnight pack trips, week long trips through Monument Valley and Bryce Canyon and she did outstanding. She has been used as a trail horse and has no problems around any type of vehicle (motorcycles, trucks, busy roads, bicycles etc). She's fine around other animals, crosses bridges and absolutely loves to go swimming. She is very well trained; stops on a dime, spins, backs etc. without any trouble and is very fast but also (thankfully) easy to stop. She reins and is very sensitive to leg pressure.We are selling her along with all of our other horses because we're moving out of the country and cannot take them with us. Shoshoni is an extremely special mare and we would really like for her to go to someone who will find joy in riding her regularly and swimming with her.
