Additional Comments:
Flashy, beautiful Chestnut gelding. We've owned and loved Bailey for over 7 years as a trail/pleasure/camping horse. Now this big boy needs a new home to make room for a much smaller first horse for the very young relatives to start learning on instead of just being led around wide eyed on big Bailey's back.
Bailey has a nice smooth ride at the walk, slow-gait, slow trot, and canter. He also has the beautiful Saddlebred look when he moves. He has the stamina to go all day.
Bailey is only ridden about 5-6x / year in summer when we get a chance to trail ride/camp. He'll need a confident/experienced rider until he gets back into the rhythm of riding more often.
No vices. Bailey wants constant cuddling. Loads, and is very good in our cramped little trailer. Stands nice for farrier, vet, hoof picking, and worming. LOVES brushing and scratching. Easy keeper. Doesn't mind cold weather. Doesn't bolt or get angry (& bite, buck, kick, etc). Does nibble on your coat and hat for amusement if you let him, and he likes to lay his head on your shoulder. Healthy. Really enjoyed the Parelli training we did with him.
Must go to good home or boarding facility. If we could in any way keep Bailey, we would-but unfortunately we legally only have room for 2, and the kids are scared of Bailey's size.
Lease is possible also. You board and cover all medical & maintenance costs. Price these things out in detail before contacting us please.
