Lady Escalade's registered name is DL Fed Ex. Her Sire's Name is FG Candela - Reg. # 13269 and her Dam's Name is Dama Mundana - Reg. # 8391. She is Seal Brown with a long flowing Spanish mane and wavy tail. She has never had shoes on. She is good with ears, loads, bathes, ties, etc. She is a flashy eyecatching mare with lots of good attitude and Great temperment. Excellent smooth gait, conformation, & brio. She has been used as a trail horse, just a luxury ride and in Parades. She is indeed a luxury ride on trail, where your butt stays in the saddle, no bounce, and complimented by all who see her! She is very fit and healthy, no known vices, would make an excellent brood mare. Has let down milk twice wanting other's foals. She has not been bred in the 4 years I have owned her. She is registered with "The Peruvian Paso Horse Registry of North America". Her excellent bloodlines go back to the beginning. Her Sire, FG Candela was exported from Peru and National Champion. No reasonable offer refused. Partial trade for ranch use items may be accepted as well. No trades for other horses. I am selling her only as I need the money to continue my ranch and pay off a couple of bills. She is my personal horse not a rescue. Many more photo's available I am on internet every other day. Phone calls are appreciated.The Peruvian Paso is considered the Cadillac of gaited horses. They possess a four beat stepping pace similar to the Paso Fino, but with more stride, and the Peruvians are a larger bodied horse. At present there are approximately 20,000 Peruvians in North America and only about 40,000 Peruvian horses in existence in the world. This was in large due to Peru's tight breeding and export control to keep this breed clean with their original Spanish traits in tact. The original Spanish horse brought to Peru was comprised of the Spanish Jennet, the Barb, the Friesian, and the Andalusian.Peruvian Paso's were bred as a travelers horse, ridden between valleys of the semi-deserted coastline of Peru. It was also a Plantation Horse, a rugged animal used by landowners and overseers of laborers engaged in agriculture practices along the coastal land of Peru.
