Big, stout and beautiful golden palomino with a snow white mane and tail. Major is a beautiful horse with a gentle disposition and miles and miles of trail experience. Major was previously owned by a couple in their late 60's. They trail rode him all over the US. From Kentucky to South Dakota to Washington state, he has been trailered all over for trail riding adventures. He was sold to us because they were having difficulty mounting this big boy with knee issues and were in need of a smaller horse. Major has been loved and cared for his entire life. His ground manners are perfect and he is very patient and tolerant. Major is friendly and will come to you no matter where he is. Even when turned out with five other horses he will come to you. Major is sweet and gentle enough for children to handle. No vices or issues at all. Major parks out for you to mount him and will wait patiently for you to tell him to walk on. He neck reins, gaits on a loose rein and is very well trained. He is intelligent and knows to listen to his rider for their next command. Major's gaits are very smooth and his transitions are wonderfully smooth. He will perform a flat walk, running walk and a rocking chair slow lope for you to. Ask him and he will give you whatever speed you want. No more, no less. He is a trustworthy trail mount that will put you at ease from the minute you sit in the saddle. Gentle enough to ride bareback and to stand on his back. There are no surprises with this gentle giant. What you want is what you get. He will listen to you. Major has been exposed to just about every trial obstacle you can imagine. He has been exposed to dogs, ATV's, wildlife, traffic, plastic bags, he'll cross water, climb a hill, carefully maneuver his way down a steep bank, go out alone or with a group... He has been their done that in numerous states across America as well. Major is a dream to handle and ride. He is a true palomino beauty that will win your heart with just one ride. Major is not spooky, he is confident and takes good care of his rider. Even a nervous rider will be at ease on Major. Beginner safe, family safe, elderly safe (we have the pictures to prove it). He is as good of a trail horse as they get. With his big muscular build, golden coat that feels like crushed velvet and snow white tail, he will turn heads. He will wow you with his level of training and delight you with his silky smooth ride. This horse has it all. Perfect amount of go with a verbal "whoa" he will stop for you.
