Right here is a good horse. Haiden was my first horse, and I sure learned a lot from him. He is basically a great big puppy dog. You can crawl all over him, underneath him, stand on his back, slide off his butt; nothing phases him. I love just takeing him out on the trail bareback, and a swim through the pond on a hot day. I used him in 4H when I was younger. He knows the barrel and pole patterns, but would need a refresher if your kid wanted to use him on game days. He stands good for the farrier, good at the vet, trailers, saddles, and LOVES being bathed and pampered. I'd love to see him go somewhere where some kids would brush and love up on him all day. He can put up a small fuss leaving the barn, if you go out on his own, but it's nothing unmanageable. He'll give up after a minute or so. I've had kids ages 7+ ride him. As long as they've been on a horse before, I'd give them Haiden to ride. He's had lots of cow experience, and really enjoys sorting cattle.
