Additional Comments:
Haiden is basically a giant puppy dog. He is always so happy to see me when we go visit the herd out in the pasture. He loves to be scratched and loved, but his favorite thing in the world is to be hosed down on hot day.Haiden was my first horse and used him in 4H in Barrel and poles. He'd make a great mount for someone who is just learning the patterns. He is the herd boss and has a stubborn streak, so he does need a firm hand once in a while. I wouldn't put someone on him who's only been on a horse once in there lives, because he will take advantage of them not being in charge, and head back for the barn. For the past couple years we only really pull him out 2-3 times to work cows (which he is amazing at). So he hasn't been ridden as much as i'd like because I've moved on to more advanced horses. Id have a pretty confident rider work him for a week, after that, he'd be a great horse for anyone who knows what they're doing.Haiden has amazing ground manners, know his space, stands well for the farrier, doesn't flinch for shots, ties, longes, rides bareback/double, bathes, loads, all that good stuff. nothing phases him. been there, done that. He's up to date on worming and shots, ready to go. only reason we're selling him is because we have too many horses, and not enought pasture! we hate even the thought of him going!! he's definatlely part of the family.I think the ideal home for Haiden is to someone who knows what they're doing either it be an adult or an older child. He'd make a great horse for someone who just loves to hit the trails, a working cow horse, or just as a "backyard pony" for someone to learn how to care for their first horse.this picture is a little old, didn't have any newer ones on this computer. more recent pictures available upon request. could also make a video if needed!!Haiden is located in Crosby, NDE-mail Jessica.Gjovig@ndsu.eduCall 701-641-113 or 701-965-6206
