Patches is a great all around mare that dose almost anything that is asked of her. She Was a ranch Horse in her first home out in South Dakota; then she came to Maine where she was owned for quite a while by a 65 year old woman that used her for a trail horse; then a lady from Exeter that used to run a lesson program for children and adults used her for that type of riding for a while as well as some horse shows. She minds very well, except for an accational you cant catch me act in the pasture, which isn't that often at all. On a scale from one to ten on bomb proof (1 being bomb proof and 10 not at all) I would rate her 1-2. She can have a gun shot go off 10-20 feet away from her and it usually dose not bother her at all, she my twinge or look the durectiopn but she dosen't run in fear. She is a good mare that lets any one ride her.
