Promoting Your Horse - Need help marketing your Horse for Sale?
Are you sick and tired of marketing your horse? Do you always feel like you are giving away your horses because you do not know how to market them correctly? Are you tired of dealing with people whom have no intention of buying your horse, but want to spend time "talking horse?â Are you spending time and money sending videos of your horse with no response? Or are you looking for a very specific type of horse and are having a hard time finding one with talent?
Well Promote Your Horse is just the website for you.
There are many people out there who do not know how to market a horse, or do not know in which discipline the horse is best suited. In such a tough economy, your horse needs to be marketed correctly, or it will take much longer to sell, and often for a lower price.
Promote Your Horse will do all the leg work for you. We will market your horse then filter through all the emails and phone calls, separating the âtire kickersâ from the serious buyers. You know what weâre talking about: The 14 year old girl who calls or emails saying youâve such a pretty horse, convinces you to send a video, but doesn't have any real intention in buying it. Then you must produce the DVD or VHS, figure out which service is cheaper (USPS, UPS, and FedEx), drop the package off, and pay for it. And what horse owner can spare all that time? With Promote Your Horse, you send us copies of your photos (not originals, in an email attachment is fine), a DVD or VHS, a brief biography, and leave the rest to us!
With every horse sold, we usually filter through 50 or so emails and/or phone calls, then pass on a handful of interested parties who will end up buying your horse. We do all the legwork. We advertise the horse on the internet, in person, or through the mail, send out emails with photos and send out videos. Our commission is based on a percentage of the sale price. That way, if you have to drop the price for a quick sale, you wonât be penalized by having to pay the higher commission. The commission is less than what you would pay if you took the horse to an auction, or would pay if you took the horse to a trainer to sell.
If we do not sell your horse because you, the horse owner, find someone (say, your next door neighbor) to buy the horse, we do not charge a cent. A trainer would never agree to that, and if you withdrew a horse from an auction, usually you end up paying a fee!
At an auction you never really know where your horse will end up. The wonderful thing about Promote Your Horse is that in the end YOU get to decide if the home is adequate for your horse. YOU still make the decision, and if you decide there is something "fishy" going on, that is completely fine. On to the next buyer.
