"Trixie" is a 3 yr. old, 16.1 grey mare by Senor Lear (16.3 grey TB) and out of Treat a Lady. Lear's foals have all been good-minded, large-boned, and are showing great promise over fences. "Trixie" is a great mover with a flat trot and a round, smooth canter. She is well-started: walk, trot, canter, stop, and back. Trixie will be fancy enough for an open rider but should be quiet enough for a Youth or Novice when finished. Shows great form and a natural aptitude for jumping when free jumped. Has been ridden over flower boxes and ground poles as well. Good deal-price will increase as training progresses.

Hughes Quarter Horses - We are a breeding farm that is committed to offering well-bred, athletic horses to the public. Our horses are competitive at a national level in AQHA hunt-seat, over fence classes, etc. Many of our horses have competed successfully in open hunter shows as well. We have two heated barns, multiple corrals with loafing sheds, pasture boarding for mares and foals, two hot and cold wash racks, a covered round pen, an outdoor arena, a hot walker, an automatic fly spray system, and 50+ acres of riding area with lots of hills and trees. Our staff will ensure that your horse is fed twice a day and has his/her stall cleaned two times a day with an ample amount of shavings. |
