J.D. is a great sweet 13hh pony. He is only two years old but well started for his age. He has excellent ground manners for a two year old, will pick up all four feet and stands for the vet and farrier. He loads, leads and has been started under the saddle. I have lounged him both directions in full tack and added weight to the saddle. I have not gotten to a real ride but he showed no signs of humping up or bucking when I have sat in the saddle. I think he will finish out easily, I have just got too much on my plate to finish him this year and we need to reduce our herd for winter. He shows real interest in herding and working live stock, if we don't sell him I will start him on team penning as he will make a great 4H or kids event horse.
