Smoke is a great horse for a rider wanting to move up from a beginner to an intermediate horse. Has been used for guided trail rides and is an excellent trail horse who does not spook easily. He would also make a great lesson horse. He is not gaited, although he is built like a Walker. If ridden often he can even be used for a child's horse, but he can be a little spunky if left in the pasture for a few weeks. Lunging him before riding calms him down very easily. He is voice commanded from the ground and lunges, bathes, loads, and shoes easily. He has been shown under english and western and has basic dressage training. He winters well and holds weight easliy. He is a great horse who loves attention and he even seems to have a goofy side that makes you laugh. He has a grey base coat with dapples on his rear and is fleabitten on his neck and shoulders. He does have a thin black mane and tail like most Apps.
