Star is a 18 year old NFQHA mare that we rescued. She came to us skin and bones. shes blind in her left eye and has two skin growths on her neck. We asked the vet if it was affecting her in way and he said no. He recremended that we give her a daily dose of penicillin until the growths go away. so far so good. we recentley wormed her ans she is now putting some weight on. shes a good horse with a awesome personality. When we got her her tail and main were so matted that we had to cut off her long tail and mane. its growing back fast and coming in nice and thick. so shes looking better and better everyday. shes feed 2 times a day. sweet feed and a flake of hay. plus she is kept in the pasture all day that has good coastal grass in it. shes well taken care of now. shes a pocket pony and is great with other horses,kids, and dogs. when she came to us she was a broodmare. we decided to play around on her got on her with no problem. then we started her on the barrel pattern. after only a week she is lopping it. she would make a younger child an AWESOME playday horse. She neck reins and knows her leg cues. she throws her head everyone and then but its no biggy. we are working on her with that. all in all star is a super sweet mare with a big heart who just wants to please. shes sound and ready for a new home. we are asking $500. please let us know if you want to give this girl an awesome home.

We strive to breed and provide you top quality All around western pleasure horses. Our horses arnt just set on one type of event. They are exposed to trails, poles, barrels, ropes, reining, cutting, and many more fun things. We mainly focus on paints and quarter horses but every now and then we will get a thoroughbred or appendix in. We also take in unwanted horses that people can no longer afford or take care of (you can read more about it on the rescue page). Our Horses are of all ages and genders. They range from inexperienced level riders to advance level riders. Im sure we have a horse that will fit your experience level in riding. Another good thing about Jagged J is we offer our horses at reasonable and affordable prices. The prices on our horses is always negotiable. So if you see a horse that we have that you really like and cant afford the price...then please let us know. im sure we can work something out. |
