Judge is an 11 year old, Gray Dappled gelding. He is approx 15.1, and is extremely stout. I have owned him for 5 years, is up to date on everything under the sun, he does the norm: Stand for the Farrier, bathe, clip, load into the horse trailer. He isn't the biggest fan of the Vet, and would prefer a sedative LOL prior to having his teeth floated, can't blame him. Judge can be ridden western pleasure or english pleasure, and would be just fine to go do some showing. I have trained Judge the "Clinton Anderson Style"....we attended a 3 day clinic a few years back, and he was the star of the group. He is trained to do all of Clintons Series 1 ground work/under saddle, and I have been working with him a bunch under saddle with Clinton's DVD series. Judge is extremely light on the bit, has a cute little head set, walk, jog's, trot's and lope's...he knows his lead changes, likes to do patterns, I have done thousands of one rein flexes to make him extremely soft and supple. I like to keep his mind active, he seems to enjoy that. I have used him primarily for my own pleasure riding, I like to take him out on trail ride's at the Smithville Lake, or Honeycreek. We have taken him to horse play days and had an absolutel blast. He has been Horse Camping numerous times, and ties well to the trailer or a picket line. Goes thru water, thru the woods....you name it, he loves it outside of the arena. I currently have him on 5 acres of pasture, however, he can be put in a stall, but he seems to be much happier outside....he is perfect except for the fact that sometimes he can be hard to catch and I want that info to be included. My daughter says he is not hard to catch, that she can catch him..ha ha ha. On a Level of 1-10 with 10 being highstrung, I'd rate Judge at a 4, he is pretty laid back, however if you ask him to "go" he will do whatever you ask. He wants to please.
