My 3 and 4 year old children ride her lead line without a problem. We have never had her off property and are not sure how she would be on the road or trails, but I assume fine. Charisma is a been there done that mare and seems to be of sound mind and body. She is a red roan Appaloosa and has 4 red hocks and red in her tail. Her spots are a reddish brown and the rest of her body is white. If you are looking for a 4-H horse for your older child that knows how to handle their horse, she would be perfect.
