Rosie is the sweetest horse ever! She is very mellow and easy going- I can do just about anything to her and it doesn't bother her. She is broke to ride and drive, however she has not had much work done recently. I can ride her bare back with only a lead rope and halter- I do not have a saddle that fits her so I am unable to ride other than bare back. She stands nicely for saddling (put a smaller saddle on her to see if it would fit) and bridling as well. She trailers well- just walks right in and backs out nicely and stands nicely for everything. She does have some arthritis in her front left knee but we add Glucosamine in her grain and she does not have issues with it bothering her or her being lame. She has been my big gentle giant and I love having her around but due to her size- she has not been a practical horse for our family- I had bought her to be a cart horse but am unable to afford the cart. I have decided to sell her so she can find a family that will spend time with her rather than her being a "field ordament". My loss is your gain. She would be a great horse for a family with children who would like sleigh rides in the winter and relaxed riding in the summer. She is a big baby. She also comes with a hand made by Amish leather bridal. Would be possibly willing to trade for a dead broke trail horse.
