Additional Comments:
Barn name "Sadie Belle"Quick, Agile paint mare. Would be suited for OHSET, 4-H, trail, dressage, English, eventing, cows, gaming or anything that requires speed and / or agility. A confident beginner can ride her, learns very fast and works hard to please. This mare is very upright with smooth gaits. Stands for mounting, is not head shy, does not pull back, buck, bite or kick, is not cinchy and loads in straight or slant load trailer. Wonderful, respectful ground manners (my dream horse in this area) She joins up in just minutes in the round pen. Sadie's speed can intimidate a beginner rider, (like me) but confident riders have a blast on her! The Farrier loves her as she will pick up her feet often with him just walking behind her. She has not had any soundness issues while we owned her and she passed a vet check in 2006. She is very easy to worm, and doens't flinch when given a shot. Very easy keeper, enjoys warm baths. She enjoys being groomed and messed with. Stands tied for long periods of time for bathing and grooming. You can wrap her in a tarp. She has loped the pattern for barrels and poles and seems to enjoy herself, was relaxed and had her ears up. We were told that she has gammed in the past and done rodeo. She goes into a canter, gallop or lope with ease. Very sensitive to leg cues and has a soft mouth. She likes to stay busy, as sitting in the pasture for long periods of time her world gets small. Not Alpha, no drama or problems. she learns fast and works hardest to please her human. She has nice smooth rolling gaits as well as a smooth all day trot on the trails. She has a wonderful elegant jump, goes over huge stumps in the pasture. Took her to the arena and played with her, my other half got her to two track across the arena!! It looked so cool. She has had a lot of training, we just don't know how to use it all. One trainer rode Sadie and felt she would be good at English, hunter jumper and western. Another trainer felt gaming and cows would suit her. We will be taking her to the trainer to be put on cows in the near future. Sadie was put on a cow and wasn't scared. Trainer said she did good for first time. Had her ears up and was very curious. She does fine on the trails, just has so much more to give, and I'm a begginer again (over fifty) and need something with a granny gear!May trade for horse of equal value, size, age with mellow attitude and trail training. Sadie is approx 15.1 - 15.2 hands. WE need a horse that is at least 15.1 hands.TOO A GOOD HOME ONLY! We love this mare and want to make sure she has a good forever home.hypp N/N
