Bud is a 10 year old, dark bay, 17h thoroughbred. With rolling warmblood gaits, a willing attitude, and love for over fences work, Bud would make an ideal mount for many different riders. He is simplistic enough for the lower level rider, but can nicely jump through a 3'6 course for the more ambitious competitor. He is a push mount, that quickly and easily responds to both forward leg, and seat for quick downward transitions.
Bud has shown several horse trials, dressage, and hunter jumper competitions over the last 4-5 years. Currently, he is focusing on the jumper ring, to take advantage of his natural talent. He trailers, lunges, hacks, clips, etc easily, and is easy to deal with off property in a show environment. He quietly hacks alone, and easily jumps streams and other XC obstacles.
