Additional Comments:
"Sadie" is the perfect all-around horse. She is well built with a refined head, good shoulder, nice legs, and strong hip. Zippo Pine Bar (paternal grandsire), Skipper W, Dyketown, Speedy Glow breeding. She is very sweet and friendly with lots of personality. Has great ground manners, longes, ties, bathes, loads and hauls easily, good for vet and farrier, has no vices. Is fine in a stall or pasture, not mare-ish, great with other horses, UTD on everything and ok barefoot. Sound, sane, legged up, and fit. She was started late as a 4yr old. Rides western, english, and bareback in a halter. Soft in a snaffle bit, light and responsive to seat and leg aides. She has pleasure type movement but can move out when asked. Easy transitions up & down, light stop, side passes, turn on fore and haunch, backs softy, and knows leads. Starting to stop harder and slow roll back. She really shines as a trail horse. Walks out on a loose rein, rides alone, leads, fine in groups, and ridden on street. She is competitive at playdays and gymkhanas as well. Walks in & out of the arena calmly, could easily be patterened on barrels or poles. Has been lightly jumped and has a great start on cow work. Can easily be ridden by a confident beginner and still be enjoyed by an advanced rider. She has great show potential in many disciplines and the solid foundation to take her there, just needs finishing. Going to college out of state and can't afford to take this fantastic mare with me. Feel free to call or email with any questions.
