Our farm breeding focus has changed and we offer for sale this above-average young mare who was proven excellent broodmare with her 2009 colt. In fact, she adopted another colt whose mom was weaning him, after her foal was taken away! She does love babies and prefers to hang with the youngsters in the field! Mare is homozygous tobiano. Currently bred to our stallion for purebred gypsy foal due May 2011.
She has been ridden 4H shows two years now; gymkhana speed events did great, parades under her belt already, has been hitched for cart training, also starting over poles for jumping
Spring was started under saddle at 2 years old and performed admirably in a couple shows (walk/trot) and two parades! She had last year off for nursery duty and will be in training until sold. Henry County 4H fair June 2010 and she loved being the FFA petting zoo equine this year! She is a model gypsy horse poster child and very photogenic with her white forelock, she really stands out in the herd and shines in pictures. She has the famous gentle and friendly gypsy temperament, and built to do most anything well. See Arctic Spring pedigree on allbreedpedigree.com. Lots of pictures at webshots--chevreherd albums
