GENTLE, GENTLE, GENTLE & QUIET mare! Even for her young age this mare has done a lot and ABSOLUTELY ONE ONE CAN RIDE THIS MARE! She likes to go slow but will willingly go into a nice slow and smooth jog and lope when you ask. She does ride nicely 1 handed in the bridle. You can pull her out totally cold even after time off, step on and ride off. She will be as low headed, quiet and laid back as she always is! She is fantastic on trails and will go absolutely anywhere like a mountain goat! She has been trapped off of a lot up in the high mountains so is very sure footed and has had to carry dead animals. She will go right though water, rivers, snow, rocks, etc. She has been used on the ranch and to rope off of in the branding pen, she has also been roping a lead steer and doing very well! She is patterned on barrels but does not care to go fast so she would be a good one for the kids to ride and have fun with. She is a very quick learner who is very fun and easy to work with! She even knows how to bow and lay down on command, if you get on her while she is laying down then cue her to get up she will get up with you on her back! Nothing ever seems to spook or bother this mare and she LOVES people and attention! She is like a big puppy. Her owner has had her since she was a yearling and is heart broken to sell her but she needs to focus on her open rodeo horses. She has NO vices at all, absolutely no buck or silly stuff and has always been completely sound.
