Sash is a black mare with a small star. She was born on our farm. She is 15 hh and would work best for an intermediate or experienced rider. She is a Thoroughbred and Walker cross. She doesn't gait but she has an extended trot that really covers the ground and she can do it for miles and miles. Every horse I've ridden with has had to gallop to keep up with her long trot.Sash is well trained under saddle and has good ground manners. She neck reins, backs, side passes and does flying lead changes. She has worked cows, is great at pole bending, will carry a flag in a grand entry or parade and is a really great trail horse. She is not spooky and is surefooted. I have rode her for 9 year and we've done many different things. She rides in rain, snow and hot sun and she just loves to go down the road or trail.
