Dakota is an 8 year old 15.1 hh skewbald mare; she is both white and bay and has a distinct blue eye. She is well trained in Western Style and is very forward moving that needs a good rider. Dakota is a pretty girl, she is registered that might be good for show, though she has not shown before as her owner only uses her as a pleasure western trail horse. A University girl formerly owned her for 4 years, but is unsure where she came from. No issues with the farrier, loads easy though prefer to be with a companion in the trailer. Never is lame, has good feet and does not need shoes. Ties easily with no hassle, never had any surgeries, no colicing. Easy keeper, kept pastured. Would be great for someone that will have more than one person ridding her, she is very energetic on the trail, good prospect for barrel racing. Not spooky, she is a great all round horse. Dakota?s owner does not have the time or energy to ride her every day and therefore is selling her. Dakota is only going to an approved home, and is in no rush to be sold.
